A wonderful thatched cottage sits on a quiet country lane. The garden is alive with colour, courtesy of the red and pink roses and the rich blue delphiniums. The cottage owner is having her skewbald horse shod, and the farrier’s terrier waits patiently for his master to finish the job. A couple walk by – it looks like they’ve been for a walk across the distant hills, whilst behind them a young family are stroking a lovely chestnut horse who has come to say “hello”.
